Local handyworkers or shop owners built these using simple nailed construction. The nails are very old. They are highly collectible today for their rustic, "primitive" look. This cabinet was made of pine, and the drawers were put together using small finishing nails and are numbered on the inside. It has a crack on the back (pictured) which shows his age, but doesn’t affect it. It has holes on the back for hanging. See less
