A textured, impressionist composite sculpture of a standing female figure, likely a dancer, caught mid-gesture with one hand raised to her hair.
The heavily worked, unpolished surface gives the piece a raw, sketch-like quality, evoking the rough-cast figural work associated with early modern sculpture.
Finished in a bronze-toned patina and mounted on a round black base with a small metal stand. The stand is signed by the artist, Doris White, on the top and bottom side of metal base.
