The heads … Read more These are two dolls, a boy and a girl, from Mexico that are dressed in traditional Huichol costumes. The heads and bodies seem to be a rubbery material (likely not from Mexico) but the handstiched dress, the jewelry, the hats, and accessories are all handmade by the The Huichol (aka Wixárika) people of Sierra Madre in Mexico. I do not know the age of these, however, the condition I would consider pristine. Perfect for Mexican folk art or doll collectors, this pair is from my non-smoking, no pet home.
