A beautifully decorative late 20th-century ceramic fishbowl planter featuring a soft chinoiserie palette of cobalt blue, dusty pink, and green against a warm white ground. Repeating floral medallions encircle the rounded body, framed by delicate blue scrollwork and linear borders that give the piece a pleasing architectural rhythm.
At 12 inches wide, it has enough scale to hold a substantial orchid, fern, or leafy houseplant without becoming cumbersome. The coloring makes it especially versatile: softer than traditional blue and white, yet still classic enough for an English country garden room, Palm Beach sitting room, conservatory, covered terrace, or layered traditional interior.
