A superb burr wood display cabinet dating from the 1950s. Its clean lines, perfectly geometric front, and beautiful proportions are characteristic of post-war modernist furniture. A piece as elegant as it is functional, offering exceptional storage capacity.
materials: made of oak (solid and veneered), this large cabinet combines wide fronts with visible grain and a central glass door. Its recessed black base emphasizes the geometry and simplicity of the piece.
features: the display cabinet is organized around a large central glass panel equipped with several shelves and topped with an open niche. Two large closed storage compartments are located on either side. The cabinet is fully demountable, a particularly ingenious design that greatly facilitates its transport and installation despite its generous dimensions. The doors lock. All shelves are height-adjustable thanks to a rack and pinion system.
restoration: the exterior of the cabinet was completely sanded in our workshop to reveal the natural wood color. The piece was then carefully cleaned, both inside and out. We chose to leave it in its raw wood state, without any finish, to preserve its natural and luminous appearance.
this vintage display cabinet is fully demountable and will be delivered assembled, but can be delivered disassembled if you prefer. Each component of the cabinet will be labeled, and clear, illustrated instructions will be sent to you for easy reassembly.
dimensions: w173 x d39 x h172.5 cm.
left and right cupboards: w46.5 x d32.5 x h160 cm.

a large vintage piece from the 1950s with a clean, architectural design, remarkable for its storage capacity, central display window, and fully demountable construction.
