Dover White is the quietest of the marbles Lebanto works with, a clean white stone whose fine, soft veining stays in the background. It is chosen for pieces where the form itself, rather than the pattern of the stone, is meant to lead. Every top is cut from its own block, so no two of these Dover White marble side tables are quite alike.

Beneath the top, the making is all economy. Two panels of the same stone meet perpendicular and lock together into a self-supporting cross-leg base, one slotting through the other, the join left in open view as the single detail the design allows itself.
