the work is executed in miyoshi’s recognisable soft watercolour style, with transparent colours, delicate outlines and a calm, domestic atmosphere. At the top, the inscription “green pears!…” appears, beautifully matching the subject of the composition.

at the lower right, the work is signed in pencil “takako y. Miyoshi” and numbered 54/95.

takako y. Miyoshi is a japanese illustrator and artist, known for her refined watercolour-like depictions of everyday objects, flowers, food, interiors, animals and landscapes. She studied graphic design at tama art university and later developed a recognisable, light and elegant illustrative style.
