This is a low, compact table, built so that the marble carries the piece while everything around it stays deliberately spare.

Kenya Black trades the softness of the paler stones for pure drama. A deep, near-total black is broken by pale veining that branches like the grain of ancient wood, and where the slabs are matched the pattern folds back on itself into something almost symmetrical. These tops are cut from natural stone, and no two of these Kenya Black marble side tables are ever quite the same.

The structure is shown rather than hidden. Two panels of the same stone are notched at right angles and slotted one through the other into an interlocking cross-leg base, with no bracket and no metal to break the line.
