Beautiful antique French Napoleon III double photo frame, dating to the second half of the 19th century.
Made from richly figured burl wood and decorated with a fine contrasting wood intarsia/inlay border in a repeating geometric pattern. The frame features two oval portrait openings with metal surrounds (without glass) and retains its original-style easel back also has a metal hanging ring on the reverse for wall mounting.

Each oval opening: approx. 13 × 8 cm / 5.1 × 3.1 in
