Danish Walnut and Cane Coffee Table No 214 by Anton Kildeberg, 1960s.
Wonderful Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern coffee table Model No 214. Designed by Kai Aage Lauritzen Vang for Anton Kildebergs Møbelfabrik, Odense, Denmark in the 1950s.
This table has the very sought after underlying shelf with the original beautifully patinated woven wicker/bamboo cane which is often seen in Danish Mid-Century Modern designs.
Tabletop with vivid grained walnut veneer. Tapering legs in solid wood.
Makers mark "AK" logo underneath.
Good vintage condition with light patina consistent with age and use. Few light scratches. Some slight gloss differences on top. Stable construction. This piece has an attribution mark,
