This exceptional piece captures the height of the Art Deco movement as interpreted by master weavers in China. The period is renowned for producing some of the most sought-after antique rugs globally, blending traditional Eastern motifs with Western modernism.

The palette is a sophisticated study in contrast, featuring a warm, expansive field of apricot and salmon hues framed by a wide border of soft sage green. While the overall impression is saturated, the subtle use of lighter tones ensures this piece harmonizes well with other ivory color rugs and contemporary interiors.

Characteristic of the Art Deco style, the design employs a dramatic use of negative space, allowing the warm field to dominate. Vibrant sprays of stylized blossoms and trailing vines—rendered in blues, yellows, and deep reds—grace the corners and edges, making this a prime example among floral rugs of the early 20th century.

Woven in wool with a luxurious, dense pile, this piece was designed to anchor a major living space. Its generous dimensions classify it among the most desirable room size rugs, offering both historical provenance and immediate decorative impact suitable for grand halls or spacious reception rooms.
