This is the finest example of an antique French Breton style server, sideboard or buffet we have ever procured~~beautifully carved with dark oak patina, parquet top and intricate carvings.

Highly requested classic French Breton design~~Breton (sometimes known as Brittany) furniture originated in late 19th century France in a region to the west of Normandy, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.
Retains its original “Meubles d’Art – Jouannic – Auray” maker’s label, identifying the piece as the work of the noted Breton furniture maker Jouannic of Auray, Brittany, France
Flanking the cabinet doors are impressive carved posts featuring traditional Breton figures in regional dress, set over turned columns embellished with scrolling foliage and geometric motifs.
