This exceptional piece from the Art Deco era showcases a striking central field rendered in a vibrant, saturated hue, placing it among the most desirable Coral rugs of the period. The hand-knotted wool pile retains a luxurious sheen, characteristic of high-quality Chinese production.

The design features a bold, curvilinear medallion shape set against a subtly contrasting border ground. The central panel is sparsely decorated, allowing the rich color to dominate, while delicate, asymmetrical floral motifs trail gracefully into the corners and along the outer edges, providing visual movement and depth.

Measuring in a practical format, this piece qualifies as a versatile room size carpet, perfectly suited to anchor a sophisticated living space or formal dining area. The generous scale ensures that the dramatic color composition and intricate border details are fully appreciated within a larger interior design scheme.
