Joseph Craig English is a Virginia Commonwealth University-trained painter and printmaker whose vibrant, colorful work has captivated collectors and institutions for over five decades. Sparked by a ninth-grade introduction to silkscreen printing, English built a career rooted in bold artistic passion, working in oil, acrylic, and printmaking from his long-time studio in Washington Grove, Maryland, before recently relocating to a new studio in Frederick, Maryland. Since 1972, he has brought his work directly to the public through arts festivals nationwide, his website, and custom commissions for interior designers and architects. See less
