The different animals may have slightly different shapes one to another. This one has extended his head more than some others. I love the red and white colors, all naturally occurring from brecciated jasper stone. We purchased the professor's personal collection, and each one is the best of the best. I especially like the turtles, since the turtle is the Symbol of Tranquility and Steadfastness; Said to Teach You To Take Your Time And Enjoy Life. It is believed that the Turtle is the epitome of patience and ancient wisdom. Chinese mythology places the tortoise (turtle) as a creature in one of the most prominent positions, which is regarded highly as the symbol of tranquility and steadfastness.

Whether you collect miniatures in general or turtles in particular, you will love this little fellow.
