The lightness of the structure and the richness of the natural fiber workmanship define the character of this Scandinavian bench from the second half of the 20th century. Crafted from bamboo, it features two levels, with a slatted seat and a lower shelf designed to hold shoes, both characterized by a regular and airy weave. The rattan bindings take on a particularly decorative value at the corners, where they form elaborate crisscrossing weaves that highlight the joints and the artisanal nature of the construction. The uprights continue below the shelf, forming four short legs with rounded ends. The alternation between the solidity of the structural elements and the lightness of the slats creates an object with a simple yet refined design, enhanced by the warm tones and natural variations of the bamboo and rattan.
