Pair of Italian bedside tables from the 1940s, attributed to Paolo Buffa for La Permanente Mobili Cantù. The walnut frame features walnut burl doors, with symmetrically arranged grain and highlighted by a thin, light-colored inlay with a contoured profile. The perforated handles and leg caps are made of metal, while the molded frames and rounded corners define the profile of the two pieces. The turned and tapered legs complete a construction attributable to Italian production of the period, in which Art Deco elements are combined with a progressive simplification of forms. Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
