made in denmark by schmidt's lampedesign, the "2008 l" floor lamps combine a slender brass frame with white lacquered metal elements. The vertical stem fits into the circular base and ends at the top with a flexible segment, which allows the diffuser to be adjusted and the light to be directed. The latter is composed of a cylindrical part and a truncated cone element, both lacquered white, with the switch integrated directly into the body. The contrast between the warm brass tone and the light surfaces highlights the geometry of the different elements and the lightness of the profile. A 1960s design in which adjustability, precise shapes, and a combination of materials define the essential character of danish design of the period. Good condition. They show signs of age.
