designed by karl-erik ekselius for joc möbler in the 1960s, these armchairs feature a compact and well-defined teak frame, in which the woodwork plays a central role. The armrests are particularly recognizable, with an almost sculptural shape and a section that varies along the profile, then seamlessly connects to the backrest structure. This attention to the shape of the structural elements, developed by ekselius during his long collaboration with joc, characterizes many of his furniture designs from this period. The seats and backrests have recently been reupholstered in light gray cotton blend fabric.
