The solid pine frame is built from turned rods bent into a looping, sculptural form, joined at two points by ball-shaped pivots that allow the shade height to be adjusted along the upright.

The frame stands on a substantial circular pine base with a raised centre boss, and the natural grain and warm honey tone of the pine run consistently throughout. A tapered linen shade sits atop a slender pine stem, its natural weave diffusing the light into a soft, even glow.
