A fine cased opalescent glass vase model "Esterel". Designed by René Lalique and manufactured in his workshop in Wingen-sur-Moder, France, c. 1923. The spherical body features a detailed, relief-molded motif of overlapping leaves and branches. The glass displays a magical opalescence, complemented by an original blue patination in the recessed areas to accentuate the botanical design. The base is hand-engraved with the signature "R.Lalique France N° 941". This model is documented in the René Lalique 1860-1945 — Catalogue Raisonné by Félix Marcilhac (les éditions de l'amateur, 4th edition, p. 426, no. 941). This piece has an attribution mark,
