Framed in a beautiful white frame with Rococo ornamentation and rocaille work in a lovely aged white. Hand-painted, they depict two cages with birds perched on lemon tree branches. A pair of strikingly beautiful paintings in an elegant, Provençal style. Each features, against a light background, an ornamental floral composition with stems, leaves, and flowers in shades of green, blue, yellow, and ochre.

Both pieces maintain a nearly symmetrical composition, although the plant elements show slight differences, reinforcing their character as a decorative pair designed to be viewed together. See less
