Sculptor, draftsman, printmaker.
1933-34 Attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Dresden
After 1938 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden
1946-52 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (under Willi Geiger and Ernst Geitlinger (1951-52))
Also worked as a freelance printmaker in Munich from 1947
1962-77 Teacher of graphic arts, painting, and lettering at the Education Center for Architecture and Design and at the Master School for Fashion in Munich.

1962 Solo exhibition, Graphic Arts Fair at Kaiserplatz, Munich
