A rare piece by this fabulous French designer for this renowned Spanish manufacturer.

All-brass structure.

Conical base for exceptional stability.
The lampshade tilts via a ball joint.
Original foot switch.

Labels still present, on the base and under the switch.

Height 148 cm.

Width 60 cm.

Depth 24 cm.

Excellent condition. Only one small mark on the base, nothing significant, see photos.

Original, even patina. No oxidation. Depending on individual taste, the brass could be polished to restore its original luster. Please feel free to request this.



Jacques Adnet:

In the 1920s and 1930s, Adnet established himself as a major figure in the Art Deco movement.

His association with Hermès marked a turning point in his career, allowing him to develop his famous style combining leather and metal.

At the helm of Compagnie des Arts Français, Adnet continued to push the boundaries of design with creations that combined elegance, modernity, and functionality. Among the designers on his team were leading figures such as François Jourdain, Charlotte Perriand, and Georges Jouve.

In the 1950s, he devoted himself to furniture design and received numerous commissions, including the decoration of the French president's private apartments at the Élysée Palace and the meeting room at UNESCO's Paris headquarters. from 1959 to 1970, he directed the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
