The Beta floor lamp, designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide in the early 1960s, is an icon of Italian industrial design characterised by geometric elegance and the skilful use of fine materials. It features a solid, sculpted base in veined Veronese red marble, a slender and minimalist vertical stem in nickel-plated brass, and an opal glass shade supported by a painted metal bracket.
