The lamp immediately stands out for its deep red, high-gloss glaze. This rich colour reflects the light in a dynamic way, giving the organic curves and geometric rings of the foot extra depth. The design balances between the Space Age futuristic forms and the artisanal 'Studio Pottery' tradition that flourished in Europe at the time.
