Their essential form, defined by a rectangular profile with gently rounded corners, allows the material and its optical qualities to become the defining elements of the design.

Made of acylic glass, the frames consist of two overlapping elements secured at the corners by small metal pins. The transparent section creates a luminous border around the photograph, while the back panel features a distinctive shifting colour that changes from deep blue to violet tones depending on the light and viewing angle. The thickness of the material further enhances this effect along the edges, where transparency and colour overlap.

Simple in construction yet strongly defined by their use of acrylic glass, the frames reflect the 1970s fascination with synthetic materials, transparent surfaces and saturated colours. The photograph appears almost suspended within the structure, transforming a functional object into a small decorative piece.
