Handcrafted in walnut, the chairs feature gracefully shaped open backs with three slender vertical splats, carved crest details, and softly curved frames. The seats are raised on cabriole front legs detailed with carved foliate motifs at the knees and scroll feet, joined by shaped stretchers for additional support. The scalloped seat rails echo the movement of the backs and give the set a refined silhouette. Each chair retains its original floral velvet upholstery in warm ochre and olive green against a cream ground, finished with traditional brass nailhead trim. The aged textile complements the warm tone and natural patina of the walnut frames. The chairs have been structurally revised to ensure they are solid and stable. The walnut frames have been cleaned and polished with wax while preserving their original finish and patina.
