The chair features the distinctive architectural form associated with Baughman's celebrated T-back design: a fully upholstered cube-form seat appears suspended within an angular flat-bar chromed metal frame. Viewed from the rear, the exposed frame creates the characteristic T-shaped support that gives the design its familiar name.

Currently upholstered in a geometric woven textile in layered gray, charcoal and muted taupe tones, with a loose seat cushion and back cushion.

The chair's construction, proportions and frame configuration closely correspond with documented vintage examples of Baughman's T-back seating for Thayer Coggin. No manufacturer's label was found, however, so the attribution is being represented conservatively and is not offered as a definitive maker identification.
