Portfolio Collection monograph featuring the work of American fiber artist and sculptor Norma Minkowitz, published by Telos. This illustrated art book explores Minkowitz’s distinctive approach to contemporary fiber sculpture, including her use of crocheted fiber, thread, wire, resin, paint, leather, wood, and other mixed media.
The publication includes essays and critical writing on Minkowitz’s career and artistic practice, including “Architecture of the Spirit: Reflections on the Work of Norma Minkowitz” by David Revere McFadden, an introduction by Jane Adlin of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and “Norma Minkowitz: Drawn to the Edge” by Kathleen Whitney, as well as a biography.
