The item is in excellent condition, with the silver plating remaining bright and intact across the entire surface, and is authenticated on the reverse by a clean column of French hallmarks including the maker's stamp with his initials flanking a biplane with its two wings as an intermediate symbol, a technical control mark featuring the letter "D" with a dot above, and the official square stamp "25" legally certifying an exceptionally thick coating of 25 grams of pure silver.
