A rare early example of a Keuffel & Esser drafting table. It is stamped Aug 8 1905, the same year that the original Hoboken NJ factory was partially destroyed by fire. Iron hardware and slotted screws are consistent with the period. See image from 1913 product catalog for a similar drafting table based on this earlier model.
Table top is 31” x 42”
Height can be adjusted from 32” (flat) to 42” (flat) / 47” (tilted).

It does not have the original finish — it was stained a dark brown at some point in its history. The table surface contains pinholes as pictured, as well as several deep scratches and some wood tear out. The table top recently had a glue-down linoleum cover removed and the wood was reconditioned with tung oil. less
