The textured nest is finished in warm cream, tan and soft brown tones to resemble woven grasses and twigs. Three dimensional blue eggs decorate the top of the box. An antiqued metal band surrounds the piece with a hinged back and front clasp.

Opening the box reveals a glazed white porcelain interior and a delightful miniature bird surprise. The tiny removable bird is hand-painted in blue, white and rosy red tones and is included with the box.

A wonderfully whimsical collectible with beautiful dimensional detail. Its miniature size makes it perfect for display in a curio cabinet, on a dressing table or bookshelf, or alongside a collection of porcelain miniatures and hinged trinket boxes.
