This model is called the Chaise Tapissée 1932 by Jean-Michel Frank. It is no longer offered by Holly Hunt.
Beautiful set of ivory leather dining chairs by Jean Michel Frank, manufactured by ECart France and distributed in the US by Holly Hunt.
Ivory leather and ebonized oak frame.
Created around 1932 by Jean-Michel Frank, the Upholstered Chair embodies his taste for quiet luxury. True to his style, Frank removed all superfluous ornamentation, preserving only what endures.
Holly Hunt is the exclusive distributor of Ecart’s Jean-Michel Frank collection in the United States. The Parisian native’s illustrious career included collaborations with Salvador Dalí and Alberto Giacometti, and he designed interiors for the likes of Elsa Schiaparelli, Cole Porter, Jean-Pierre Guerlain and Nelson Rockefeller. Established in 1978 by Andrée Putman, Ecart continued the legacy of Frank with a collection of authorized reproductions of sofas, chairs, lighting and case goods originally introduced in the 1920s and 1930s with each piece bearing a formal label and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Chairs are in very good overall condition with minor imperfections on the legs and backrest.

We make every reasonable effort to note significant conditions—such as damage, repairs, losses, or areas that may require or benefit from restoration—but the absence of a specific notation does not imply perfect or like-new conditions. Buyers are strongly encouraged to request a detailed condition report, additional photographs, or clarification prior to purchase, especially when upholstery or other condition-sensitive elements are involved. By completing a transaction, the buyer acknowledges that all items are sold with the condition variations inherent to antique and vintage merchandise. less
