Description:
Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese hardwood low table (or display stand). Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a beautiful, warm reddish-brown patina, this piece features a classic "Kang" table form with curved cabriole legs ending in scrolling feet.

The most striking feature is the masterful high-relief carving adorning the flat top. The center panel is carved with a dense "brocade" (diamond pattern) ground, featuring a central medallion of "Double Dragons Chasing a Longevity Character" (双螭捧寿), symbolizing prosperity and long life. The apron is also deeply carved with scrolling dragon and floral motifs.

Condition: Excellent condition. The wood is solid and sturdy with a beautiful natural patina. All carved details are crisp and fully intact. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No structural damage. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
