An exceptional and stately pair of 19th-century French Louis XVI-style figural candelabra. Boasting an impressive architectural presence at 26 inches tall, each piece is heavily cast in patinated and gilt bronze (ormolu) and weighs approximately 19.5 pounds. The base is 6 inches square.
The design is beautifully modeled in the manner of Claude Michel (Clodion), featuring finely detailed, dark patinated bronze putti (cherubs). Each figure gracefully supports an ornate, multi-light gilt-bronze cornucopia branch adorned with woven basket textures and intricate floral clusters. The figures stand atop elegant, fluted white marble column pedestals, which are draped in heavy, decorative ormolu floral festoons, swags, and laurel leaf bases resting on octagonal marble plinths.

The marble pillars and plinths are structurally sound with minor surface wear, small scuffs, and expected discoloration to the stone texturing commensurate with age.
