A stunning vintage Chinese tiered carrying box (Tihe) carved from Huali (rosewood) featuring a rich, warm patina.
This octagonal box has four stackable tiers, beautifully adorned with intricate etched brass hardware.
The arched handle is masterfully carved with two dragon heads at the ends.
A traditional piece used for carrying food or gifts, it now serves as a magnificent decorative object or storage box for a console table or bookshelf. Dimensions: 7.5ʺH × 7.3ʺW × 7.3ʺD. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age, no structural damage.
