Atmospheric mid-century figurative oil painting depicting a seated female nude viewed from behind. Rendered in a sophisticated palette of misty blue, gray and softly blushed flesh tones, the composition is distinguished by its elegant lines, expressive brushwork and contemplative mood.
The sitter’s dramatically upswept dark hair provides a striking contrast against the ethereal background. Signed “Williams” in red at the lower right. An evocative vintage work well suited to a bedroom, dressing area, gallery wall or refined modern interior.
Dimensions: 20 inches wide × 24 inches high.
