A bundle of slender brass tubes … Read more This French floor lamp by Lunière from the 1980s features a distinctly architectural structure. A bundle of slender brass tubes forms the tall column, resting on a heavy round base of black marble. At the top, the brass is finished with subtle decorative details and a wide semi-transparent glass bowl. The glass diffuses the light softly upwards, giving the lamp a warm, indirect glow when switched on. The contrast between the dark marble, the warm brass, and the light glass bowl makes the lamp powerful without appearing heavy. The vertical lines emphasize the height of the design and give the lamp an elegant, almost monumental appearance. The lamp features the original Lumière mark on the base. The brass has a beautiful warm hue, and the marble base and other parts show signs of wear consistent with age. These are visible in the photos and contribute to the lamp's original character. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and technically inspected in our workshop.
