The long arm balances on the central hinge and can be positioned in various ways. This changes not only the direction of the light but also the silhouette of the lamp. The construction is made of black lacquered metal. A cylindrical counterweight is located at one end, while the light source is positioned at the other. The central hinge literally forms the pivot point of the design and ensures that the long arm can be easily adjusted. The use of clear glass is striking. The round base consists of multiple glass sections surrounding a black metal core. The same material reappears in the shade, where a glass disc lies beneath the black metal shell. When the lamp is lit, the edge of the glass is beautifully illuminated. A chrome-plated ball joint between the arm and the shade allows the light source to be directed individually. The contrast between the black metal, the transparent glass, and the small chrome detail fits well with the postmodern design of the 1980s. The cord is equipped with a foot switch. The lamp is in neat vintage condition with light traces consistent with age and use.

the glass base has a few superficial scratches and signs of wear, appropriate for the age of the lamp. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and technically inspected in our workshop. It is ready for immediate use.
