A charming 1950s floor lamp, cleverly combining lighting and storage in one simple design. The black lacquered steel rod frame extends into a curved arm that supports the lampshade, while a wooden shelf provides a practical surface for a book, glass, or phone. Below, a magazine rack made of bent metal wire, with its graphic zigzag lines, elegantly completes the piece.
An iconic example of post-war French design, reminiscent of the wrought iron workshops of the era (Mathieu Matégot, Raymond Subes), it's perfect for a living room or reading nook.
The lamp is height-adjustable, and the lampshade can be angled. The lampshade is original; the yellow trim has been replaced for added strength. Height adjustable from 133 to 170 cm
