The most distinctive feature is the extraordinary art-glass shade, with a graduated clear-to-opalescent finish and a series of raised wave-like forms moulded into the inner surface of the glass. The relief creates depth and distortion as light passes through it, making the shade appear almost sculptural.

The contrast between the ethereal glass and the richly decorated metal ceiling mount gives the fixture an intriguing mix of Art Deco elegance and sculptural vintage design.

Mounted directly against the ceiling or wall, its narrow profile also makes it particularly suitable for rooms with lower ceilings, hallways, entrances or anywhere a pendant would hang too low.
