Artist's proof, aside of the edition of 40. Image dimension: 24x21 cm. A finely executed, deeply imaginative mid-century American etching by Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation grant recipient Sheldon Fink. This narrative print perfectly captures Fink’s mastery over classical, European-inspired intaglio line techniques—an area of expertise he famously honed while working out of his studio in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. A superb, early trial impression featuring exceptionally crisp plate-mark indentation and clean, unsmudged fine lines. The heavy cream paper matrix is excellently preserved with no visible foxing, punctures, or handling tears. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
