Signature and location Monza present at the bottom left. The Monza painter Eugenio Spreafico approached Verismo and Scapigliatura from 1881, becoming part of the group of Monza Realists, among whom Mosè Bianchi, Emilio Borsa, and Pompeo Mariani stand out. His focus shifted towards landscape painting, particularly of Monza and the Lombard countryside, and social themes such as fieldwork, portraying workers immersed in nature, in a close figure-landscape relationship. Here is presented the view of an alpine peak towering over a large green meadow. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
