This print is restored from an extremely rare medieval print depicting eclipse movements. To modern eyes, it has a playful whimsy that was likely an inspiration on Fornasetti. The pigments of the original are a deep purple that is incredibly beautiful.
Restored and printed in my studio on archival watercolor paper.
