Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese hardwood display stand, crafted in the classic form of a miniature "Luohan Bed" (罗汉床) with three surrounding panels.

Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a spectacular, warm reddish-brown patina, the side panels are exquisitely carved in high relief with the "Twelve Zodiac Animals" (十二生肖), including a rabbit, ox, and pig, rendered in a lively and auspicious manner. The base features a classic, pierced geometric fretwork apron (拐子纹). The flat top surface is perfect for displaying a small statue, incense burner, or as a standalone statement piece.
