An Exceptional fine Grand tour Italian Neoclassical style large Architectural model representing the shrine of Marcus Aurelius. The structure showcases a four-column portico layout supporting a layered, stepped roofline adorned with sphere finials. Nestled inside the colonnade is a central pedestal meant to suspend a Cameo of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, with a beautifully detailed, integrated ebonized relief profile medallion on the front. Every architectural detail has been carefully executed, from the carved flower appliqués flanking the frieze to the striking serpent-and-vase finial crowning the dome. Standing on classic ebonized bun feet, this exquisite relic of horological history brings a sophisticated, scholarly aesthetic to any modern interior or antique collection.
