It's all-original and in excellent condition, employing its original socket, too! Just use two screws to mount it to the wall or if you're more ambitious, an expanding "strap" so you can fasten it directly to your electrical box. As there's no switch on the light itself it will require a wall switch or other device.

The white glass shade is the same vintage and came with the brass holder, suggesting they came together at the time of origin. There's the tiniest flake at the tip of the shade, which I only mention for "full disclosure," as it's nearly invisible. The brass has a good natural patina which you can spiff up if you want by dusting and waxing. I'm leaving that choice to you. A quality paste wax works best in my opinion.

Use any wattage you want; a "standard" sized bulb of 100 watts fits nicely inside the shade. The socket is original, porcelain.

Dimensions: About 7 inches front to back. The back plate is 5 3/8 diameter, and shade about 4 inches across at the widest point. See less
