Fine bronze Kylin with a mounting of a Kuan yin with a child. Highly stylized early Qing, with a beautiful carved wooden stand with a great style of carved rockwork. Elegant, light, and thin figures with an elongation of limbs and figure details. Flaming legs and flaming mane and tail create the swift and flowing linear theme. The figure lifts off the back of the Kylin and the interior cavity opens to burn incense. The figure will sit in either direction across the back.
The measurements are 14" tall and 10" wide, 3.5" deep. The bronze alone is 11.5" tall.
