This Really is a Great Looking Antique American Cast Iron Figurative Doorstop. Subjects Depicts the "Wise Old Owl" Sitting on a Book. Circa Approx 1920s. It is Not Signed by the Maker but it Could Possibly be From the National Foundry - Albany Foundry. This Smaller Size Doorstop is Solid Cast Iron ( 1 Piece Mold ) but it is Quite Heavy for its Size Weighing Just Slightly Under 7 Pounds!. It Still Retains it Original Hand Painted Features and It is in Very Good Condition. It has The Paint is Somewhat aged and Weathered with Some Small Chips here and There. It Displays Nicely with the Authentic Old Look & Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. No Damage. It is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Original and Vintage as Stated.
This Smaller Size Doorstop Measures Overall Approx.
